Applicants must have: 

  • A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent degree with at least 7.5 CGPA out of 10. Furthermore, applicants must have a final year average of a minimum of mid-B from a recognised university.
  • At least a 3.0 GPA in the final year of a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university.
  • TOEFL scores of at least 100 out of 120 with at least 22 on speaking and writing.

  • A minimum of two years of full-time work experience. However, students applying for combined and joint degrees won’t need to fulfil this criterion.

Full-time MBA

The Full-time MBA program at Rotman School of Management is 20 weeks long. Of these, 16 weeks include academic study and 4 weeks include a paid internship. Master of Finance 

The Master of Finance program at Rotman School of Management is a 2-month-long in-person program. According to the University of Toronto, Rotman’s Master of Finance program is the first one of its kind in Canada. 1/3rd of the program graduates are currently employed at the top five banks in Canada. The program also has a network of over 450 alumni working at investment management firms, pension funds, tech companies, etc.  

The application deadline for MFin’s Fall 2025 admissions is 27th November 2025. There are certain admission requirements laid out by the Rotman School of Management. Here’s a brief look into those requirements:

  • You must hold a four-year-long undergraduate degree or equivalent from an accredited institution. 
  • You must have scored a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • You must hold a minimum work experience of two years in finance or a relevant relevant field. 
  • You must be proficient in English.
  • You must provide your GMAT/ GRE test scores.

Master of Management Analytics

The Master of Management Analytics program at Rotman is recognized by The Vector Institute. The QS World Rankings for Masters in Business Analytics 2024 ranked this program #1 in Canada. According to the University of Toronto, 97% of the program students from the Class of 2023 received employment within six months of graduation. The average annual salary for the same class graduates was CAD 88,392.
