The Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science at the University of Toronto is a research-based, 16-month funded program in which students work closely with a faculty supervisor to complete a major research project (CSC4000Y) of publishable quality, spanning research areas from machine learning and robotics to computer graphics and theory of computation. All full-time MSc students receive a guaranteed funding package combining research and teaching assistantships, and students who transition directly to the PhD receive a combined 60-month funding package. Total cost is approximately ₹45,74,300 for Indian students over 16 Months. Graduates move into research careers in academia or industry, or continue directly into UofT's PhD program.
