Our faculty and staff are dedicated to the success of our students and to tackling some of the most challenging problems facing humanity. CBE has consistently been ranked as one of the top 25 programs in the nation and the pass rate of our graduates on the Fundamentals of Engineering or “FE” exam (the first step toward professional engineering certification) is over 99%, well above the national average. ;The programme;The 85% completion rate of our PhD students is also well above the national average of about 60%. Our faculty have earned many national and international research and teaching awards; three of our faculty have been inducted into the prestigious National Academy of Engineering, with Prof. Brennecke the latest to receive this honor in 2012.;I want to find another Master Course;About the graduate program;The Chemical Engineering and Biomolecular Engineering Faculty at University of Notre Dame is committed to providing the best possible educational experience for all of our students as preparation for a successful career. Thus students need to acquire broad, long half-life understanding of the fundamental tenets of chemical engineering, which is provided in the core courses, specialized knowledge of great depth, provided in elective courses and the ability to define, attack and resolve original problems, which is the outcome of thesis research. There is close interaction between students and faculty on all of these elements of our graduate program.
