The graduate program has two major programs, Nuclear Engineering and Medical Physics. Specific areas of research and study in Nuclear Engineering include advanced nuclear power concepts and systems,digital control of nuclear reactor power plant technology and operations, reactor dynamics and control, and advanced radiation detectors and analysis in support of nuclear forensics and homeland security. The Nuclear Engineering Sciences program is offered at University of Florida.;The Medical Physics program is a CAMPEP accredited program designed to meet the professional requirements for a career in clinical service or research and development.
