The faculty-to-student ratio of approximately 1-to-6 allows a great deal of personalized interaction, and students can tailor their programs to their specific areas of interest.;Students of the Food, Agricultural and Biological Engineering program at The Ohio State University design a plan of study with their advisors with course work coming from disciplines across campus. There are two master's options: a thesis or a non-thesis. The Plan A (thesis) requires a minimum of 30 credit hours which is a research based program.
