MSc in Computer Systems and Software Design, Jacksonville State University

The mission of the MCIS department at Jacksonville State University is to provide quality programs for three Bachelor of Science degrees, and two Master of Science degrees , such as Computer Systems and Software Design. MCIS also offers a minor in four areas, and courses for students seeking a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education with a concentration in mathematics. The programs of this department place a strong emphasis on quality teaching, and encourage research and other scholarly activities to strengthen this emphasis. In its presentation of the programs, MCIS attempts to provide a balance between the theoretical and the applied.;MCIS provides the appropriate courses for its own majors and minors in addition to several service courses in mathematics and computer science for other disciplines.
