IMPORTANT - INSTITUTION CLOSED: The College of Saint Rose was a private Catholic college founded in 1920 by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet in Albany, New York. In November 2023, its Board of Trustees voted to close the college following the 2023-2024 academic year due to prolonged financial difficulties, and the college ceased instruction after its final commencement in May 2024. It filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in October 2024, and its campus was sold in March 2025. Student records are now maintained by the University at Albany. Because this institution no longer operates or admits students, this program page should be removed or 301-redirected rather than kept live with generic about content -- publishing it as an active program risks both a poor user experience and a credibility signal issue with search engines.
