This Electronic Media Management concentration from the Central Michigan University is designed for students who want to work in a managerial capacity within mass media, whether it be at a large corporation or a small media outlet. Students also will learn how to manage their own careers, with an emphasis placed on thriving in a freelance media economy. ;Coursework in this concentration teaches students mass media theory and research methods, but also focuses on sales, promotion and management techniques that are necessary for survival in a highly competitive mass media industry.;Research Opportunities and Assistantships;CMU's program offers several graduate assistantship opportunities for incoming graduate students.
