The M.Eng Microelectronics at BITS Pilani Dubai Campus is a 2‑year, full‑time higher degree program that builds advanced expertise in microelectronic devices, analog/digital IC design, VLSI architectures, and semiconductor technology for modern electronic systems. The course structure follows the typical BITS higher‑degree pattern with core courses, electives, labs, and a final‑semester dissertation or Practice School, so you gain both strong theoretical foundations and hands‑on design experience using industry‑standard CAD/EDA tools. Core subjects generally cover semiconductor device physics, analog and digital integrated circuit design, VLSI design and testing, microelectronics technology and fabrication, and relevant modelling/simulation courses, while electives let you go deeper into areas such as mixed‑signal ICs, RF circuits, low‑power design, and advanced VLSI topics.
