With tuition costs rising across major study destinations, students targeting the US and UK for 2026 now have multiple funding avenues to explore. Alongside university specific awards and fully funded STEM programs, ShiftED 2026 has introduced a ₹80,00,000 scholarship pool, offering Indian applicants an additional structured pathway to reduce their study abroad expenses.
Several institutions in the US and UK have opened scholarship applications for the 2026 intake. In the US, the International Student Merit Scholarship at UCSC Silicon Valley offers a one-time award of 1,000 dollars to eligible F 1 students enrolling in certificate programs.
In the UK, King’s College London has announced Vice Chancellor’s Awards for postgraduate students domiciled in India, offering up to 5,000 pounds in fee reductions. The British Council Scholarships for Women in STEM 2026 to 27 will also provide 25 fully funded awards to South Asian applicants, covering tuition fees, living costs, travel, visa expenses and English language support.
Complementing these university led initiatives, ShiftED 2026 has unveiled a ₹80,00,000 scholarship pool. Students who register, attend the event and complete on ground profile evaluations with participating universities can qualify for merit-based scholarships and fee waivers.
As global education becomes more competitive and cost sensitive, structured scholarship access points are becoming central to student decision making.
