India just made a bold statement on the global innovation stage. PM Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron jointly inaugurated Bharat Innovates 2026 in Nice, France — the first-ever edition of this flagship event held outside India.
Organised by India’s Ministry of Education, the 3-day Bharat Innovates 2026 summit (June 14–16) showcases 120 cutting-edge technologies from Indian innovators and top higher education institutions, spanning AI, semiconductors, biotech, space, and clean energy.
With 50+ startups, 11 high-level panel discussions, B2B matchmaking sessions, and investor pitch opportunities, the event is a goldmine for anyone at the intersection of education, entrepreneurship, and technology.
PM Modi summed it up best: “Innovation is in India’s DNA. Bharat Innovates is an invitation to the world to co-create the next chapter of global innovation with India.”
For Indian students and researchers eyeing global collaborations, this is your moment. India isn’t just producing talent; it’s now exporting innovation.
