The Master of Accounting (MAcc) at Rice University's Jones Graduate School of Business is designed to enable students with a top-tier undergraduate education, regardless of major, to complete the educational requirements for becoming a certified public accountant in just 10 months. The recently reviewed curriculum added a sequence of data-analytics courses, with students taking financial accounting, tax accounting, managerial accounting, governmental and not-for-profit accounting, and auditing, delivered through semester-long, half-semester, and intensive one-week Intensive Learning Unit (ILU) courses. Total cost is approximately ₹70,91,515 for Indian students over 10 Months. The intentionally small, tightly-knit cohort welcomes students from all undergraduate majors, from economics to music performance to English. Graduates move into careers in public accounting, corporate accounting, and financial analysis, and Big Four recruiting.
