The Software Engineering and Information Technology program at Oakland University offers a natural continuation of studies for students who have received a baccalaureate in information technology or in software engineering or in computer science and are interested in furthering their technical knowledge. The program offers two tracks: a research track and a professional track.;All accepted applicants, in consultation with their assigned faculty program adviser, must develop a plan of study that details specific courses the students will use to satisfy their degree requirements.
