The department has workstations and servers running Linux, Solaris, MacOS, and Windows all connected by a segmented Gigabit ethernet network. The department has a strong record of research accomplishments in areas such as artificial intelligence, computer networks, bioinformatics, data mining, computer architecture, human-computer interaction, software engineering, and theoretical computer science.
