The École Supérieure des Sciences Économiques et Commerciales, also known as ESSEC Business School or ESSEC, is a prestigious French institution. It was established in 1907 and operates as a non-profit association. The school's main campus is situated in Cergy, with additional locations in La Défense, Rabat, and Singapore. ESSEC offers various programs, including the ESSEC Global BBA and ESSEC Executive MBA. Initially founded by Jesuits as a response to the establishment of HEC Paris, ESSEC remained independent for a significant period. However, in 1981, it came under the control of the Versailles chamber and subsequently fell under the authority of the CCI of Paris Île-de-France in 2013. Presently, ESSEC is a member of the CY Alliance, formerly known as Université Paris-Seine.
