Wilfrid Laurier University, also known as WLU or Laurier, is a public university located in Ontario, Canada. It has campuses in Waterloo, Brantford, and Milton. The university considers itself a "multi-campus multi-community university" rather than having satellite campuses. In addition to these campuses, it also has offices in Kitchener, Toronto, and Yellowknife. The university is named after Sir Wilfrid Laurier, who served as the seventh Prime Minister of Canada. It offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs in various fields. The university's varsity teams, called the Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks, participate in the West Conference of the Ontario University Athletics, which is affiliated with U Sports.
