National College of Ireland has announced ₹75 lakh in merit and need based scholarships for Indian postgraduate students in business, technology and psychology, strengthening academic ties between India and Ireland.
National College of Ireland has introduced scholarships worth ₹75 lakh for Indian students enrolling in select postgraduate programs in business, computer science and psychology. The announcement was made during the institution’s 75th anniversary event in New Delhi.
The scholarships will be offered as tuition fee reductions and are aimed at supporting academically strong students with demonstrated financial need. The initiative reflects Ireland’s growing appeal among Indian students seeking career focused postgraduate education with clear employability pathways.
NCI is a state funded institution backed by Ireland’s Higher Education Authority and is known for applied learning and strong industry linkages. Ireland’s post study work framework allows eligible non-EU graduates to remain in the country for up to two years after completing a Level 9 qualification.
With more than 6,500 students and close connections to Ireland’s technology and finance sectors, NCI said the scholarship program reinforces its long-term commitment to supporting Indian talent and expanding India Ireland academic collaboration.
